This projects aim was to focus on the link between science and design and how emotions could be visualised through an understanding of the way people think. I looked into the science behind neurons and researched neuro artwork and early scientific diagrams to design a series of digital and physical imagery. The main goal of these images were to try and convey different emotions through the use of shape and colour centred around scientific data visualisation.
For this project I took a lot of inspiration from nature and looked for similarities In scientific diagrams and the world around me.
I explored different methods of designing digital imagery that effectively captured the shapes and ideas I had been researching. One of the methods I used was generating line art using JavaScript then manipulating the images in photoshop.
The final images I created represent different emotions through the use of imagery inspired by scientific diagrams of neurons. To do this I explored how emptions can be shown through scientific data ad looked at how that could be visualised.
